William J. Nicol, Director

Mr. Nicol has over thirty years of senior management experience in the health care industry. He has served as CEO, CFO and/or Director of six public and several privately held health care companies and has significant experience in the management of rapid growth, multi-site organizations; venture, IPO, and follow-on financing; and strategic planning and M&A.

Mr. Nicol currently serves as Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Cymetrix, Inc., a privately held Orange County based hospital revenue cycle management company. For the two years, prior thereto he served as Managing Director for Arcus Enterprises, a development subsidiary of WellPoint Health Networks. Before joining WellPoint, he successfully led Assisted Living Concepts (AMEX, Portland, OR) through reorganization as its Chairman and CEO. He has also held executive positions with Health Management, Inc. (NASD), Careline Inc. (NASD), Quantum Health Resources, Inc. (NASD), Total Pharmaceutical Care (NASD), RehabCare, Inc. (then private, now NYSE) and Comprehensive Care Corporation (NYSE).

Mr. Nicol has been a member of the Financial Executives Institute for over twenty years. He received a B.A. from Bradley University and completed the Summer Executive Program at Stanford University.
