

MEDIPHYSICS APPOINTS WILLIAM J. NICOL TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Lake Forest, CA - October 22, 2004 - MediPhysics Pain Centers of America, Inc. (MediPhysics) has announced the appointment of William J. ("Jim") Nicol to its Board of Directors. Mr. Nicol has over thirty years of senior management experience in the healthcare industry. He has served as CEO, CFO and /or Director of numerous public and privately held health care companies, including Assisted Living Concepts, Health Management, Inc, RehabCare Corporation, Total Pharmaceutical Care, Comprehensive Care Corporation, Renal Solutions, Inc and Quantum Health Resources, Inc.
